½ c. Sour cream or plain yogurt
1 T. Vinegar
1 tsp. Sugar
1/4 tsp. Dried dill weed
¼ tsp. Salt
1 lg. Cucumber, halved and thinly sliced
1 sm. Onion sliced thin and separated
Dash of pepper

In covered container stir together the sour cream, vinegar, sugar , dill weed, salt and dash of pepper. Add cucumber and onion; toss to coat; cover and chill 2 to 24 hours stirring often. Stir before serving. Slices of red or orange bell pepper can be added to this recipe for a different look and taste. Cherry tomatoes added just before serving makes a great summer salad.
